- Manage end-to-end payroll processes through the PEO partner across all locations.
- Administer the HRIS, maintain employee records, audit data integrity, and configure the system to meet organizational needs.
- Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, timekeeping, tax withholdings, and basic HR operations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and labor laws.
- Generate standard and custom HR metrics, payroll summaries, and operational reports.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks in onboarding, offboarding, and timekeeping, and implement SOPs to reduce manual data entry and errors.
- Partner with HR leadership to lead the PEO transition and build an in-house payroll model by January 1, 2028.
- Evaluate, select, and help implement internal payroll and benefits platform solutions.
- Establish workflows, SOPs, controls, and tax and registration setups for independent payroll execution.
- Train managers and staff on new timekeeping and self-service systems.
