Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering roles.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Expert-level proficiency with Playwright for end-to-end, API, and integration test automation.
- Hands-on experience using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Advanced manual testing expertise, including exploratory testing and complex test scenario design.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software architecture, API testing, Git, Jira, JSON/XML, and modern software development practices.
- Proven ability to lead testing efforts, mentor team members, and influence engineering decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright for end-to-end, API, and integration testing.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to accelerate test creation, improve automation coverage, and optimize QA workflows.
- Perform advanced manual and exploratory testing for complex features, critical workflows, integrations, and edge-case scenarios.
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies covering functional, regression, integration, API, and security testing while establishing quality metrics and KPIs.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left testing practices across engineering teams.
- Lead defect management activities by identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and validating issues while collaborating with developers to drive timely resolution.
- Mentor QA engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Produce detailed quality reports, dashboards, and risk assessments for technical and business stakeholders.
