Requirements
- Proven experience as a seller with deep expertise in the annuities market.
- 3+ years of experience leading inside sales and operations teams in a D2C environment.
- Active Life & Annuity producer license.
- Up-to-date with NAIC training.
- Track record of exceeding personal and team quotas in a consultative, compliance-heavy environment.
- Mastery of end-to-end annuity processes including suitability reviews and rollovers.
- Analytical proficiency in forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM/telephony systems.
- Strong writing and coaching ability to craft effective scripts and training materials.
- Ability to influence Product, Marketing, and Engineering using customer data.
- Ownership mindset and bias for action in a fast-moving, tech-forward environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire sales funnel and revenue targets for the annuities division.
- Act as a hands-on player-coach who actively sells, coaches, and drives weekly execution.
- Build and scale a high-performing team of licensed sales and operations professionals.
- Architect and manage the complete operational backbone including licensing, suitability, rollovers, and commissions.
- Influence product and portfolio strategy using customer insight and unit economics.
- Shape go-to-market strategy with Marketing to optimize lead quality and funnel performance.
- Establish coaching rhythms, such as call reviews and certifications, to improve close rates.
- Design and implement scalable operational processes from application to policy administration.
- Manage key performance indicators to foster a data-driven culture of high performance.
