Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including technical leadership across multiple teams.
- Proven ability to enable delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade software in distributed or cloud-hosted environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with backend and frontend technologies such as C#/.NET and modern frontend frameworks.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar systems.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience supporting production systems, including incident triage and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small solution engineering team focused on reusable libraries, shared capabilities, and platform enablement across product teams.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to a small, senior-heavy engineering team.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and engineering teams to enable delivery through shared standards and platform solutions.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices across CI/CD, deployment, scanning, and scaling.
- Serve as an escalation entry point for complex application-related production issues and coordinate resolution.
- Champion secure application development practices and compliance expectations.
- Develop change management approaches and technical guidance to reduce cross-team friction.
- Assess engineering practices and tooling to improve developer productivity.
