Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive communications experience with a focus on internal communications in large organizations.
- Demonstrated success owning and driving strategy for organizations of 150+ employees.
- Proven track record serving as a senior advisor to Executive-level leadership.
- Systems-level mastery of the impact of communications on employee engagement and organizational culture.
- Exceptional writing and content development skills with a strong portfolio.
- Ability to operate with full autonomy and independently prioritize complex work.
- Executive presence with high judgment, discretion, and political acumen.
- Cultural competency and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools such as Zoom and Slack.
Responsibilities
- Own ActBlue's comprehensive internal communications strategy by defining KPIs, goals, benchmarks, and success metrics.
- Lead strategic direction and hands-on production for high-impact content including executive messages, all-staff meeting materials, and the internal newsletter.
- Define and maintain editorial and channel standards across internal platforms such as Slack, email, and Confluence.
- Counsel and prepare Executive Leadership Team members for internal events and high-stakes situations.
- Partner with People & Culture to support change management and employee experience goals.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all messaging and accessibility efforts.
- Oversee communication sequencing for organizational changes and restructurings to protect legal notice timelines.
