Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
- Prior experience as a senior or staff-level engineer.
- Hands-on technical fluency with agentic, AI-native software development tools.
- Strong background in small-batch and continuous delivery practices (feature flags, testing, short-lived branches).
- Experience delivering complex production-grade systems across web, mobile, or backend services.
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience partnering with product, design, and domain experts to shape execution.
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals for fast, safe, and maintainable software.
- Experience in regulated domains like healthcare or clinical systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of engineers delivering clinical, operational, and patient-facing systems.
- Establish clear goals and execution plans aligned with product and company priorities.
- Provide direct feedback, mentorship, and career development for engineers at multiple levels.
- Champion AI-native and agentic development practices like Claude Code to raise team velocity and quality.
- Guide architectural decisions across backend services, integrations, and web/mobile experiences.
- Ensure system reliability, security, scalability, and adherence to HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
- Partner with product, design, and clinical leaders to translate requirements into actionable engineering plans.
