Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar engineering major.
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (Master's degree may substitute for one year).
2+ years in a technical leadership role.
Expertise in at least one core stack: Python, PHP (Laravel/Cake), C# (.NET), Angular, React, Flutter, and ML/Data Science packages.
Proven experience engineering SaaS products/platforms and cloud-based architectures.
Hands-on experience with containers, design patterns, and Linux/MacOS environments.
Strong architectural habits, particularly Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Active participation in widely-used open source projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for your team in all matters.
Coordinate the engineering team’s day-to-day activities to ensure delivery on or ahead of schedule.
Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to ensure client requirements are met.
Create technical architecture documentation and diagrams.
Contribute to hands-on implementation efforts for approximately 40% of capacity.
Review team code, perform code documentation, and dive into technical challenges.
Mentor engineers, manage team time-off, and hire new talent.
Act as the scrum master for the engineering team.
