Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience in large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture, performance, and reliability.
- Demonstrated experience leading the transition from a monolithic architecture to cloud-native microservices.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Go programming languages.
- Experience with Python is considered a plus.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong technical communication skills to articulate concepts and influence engineering direction.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple engineering departments and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and refactor monolithic architecture into iterative, scalable, and maintainable microservices solutions.
- Lead the design and development of next-generation platform architecture.
- Evaluate and implement robust frameworks and tools for a microservices ecosystem.
- Write high-quality, production-ready code in a hands-on capacity.
- Mentor and guide engineers to foster engineering excellence and technical growth.
- Collaborate with product management, design, quality, and DevOps teams to align on strategy and execution.
