Requirements
- Must be legally able to work in Canada and be based in the province of Quebec.
- Strong knowledge of a 3D modeling software (3Ds Max, Maya, Blender).
- Knowledge of ZBrush and understanding of High-Poly to Low-Poly baking techniques.
- Strong texturing skills and understanding of Substance Painter.
- Deep understanding of art fundamentals such as shape language and color theory.
- Ability to follow both a given art direction and technical guidelines.
- Ability to create stunning AAA visuals.
- Resourcefulness, adaptability, and teamwork.
- Bilingual (French & English).
- Portfolio required for consideration.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and Nanite is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Model and texture 3D models in accordance with design documents, art direction and technical guidelines.
- Integrate 3D models and textures in Unreal Engine 5.
- Create appropriate collision objects for 3D models.
- Optimize and fix problems on 3D models.
- Collaborate with level artists and art director to bring game assets into the world.
