Requirements

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada and be based in the province of Quebec.
  • Strong knowledge of a 3D modeling software (3Ds Max, Maya, Blender).
  • Knowledge of ZBrush and understanding of High-Poly to Low-Poly baking techniques.
  • Strong texturing skills and understanding of Substance Painter.
  • Deep understanding of art fundamentals such as shape language and color theory.
  • Ability to follow both a given art direction and technical guidelines.
  • Ability to create stunning AAA visuals.
  • Resourcefulness, adaptability, and teamwork.
  • Bilingual (French & English).
  • Portfolio required for consideration.
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and Nanite is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Model and texture 3D models in accordance with design documents, art direction and technical guidelines.
  • Integrate 3D models and textures in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Create appropriate collision objects for 3D models.
  • Optimize and fix problems on 3D models.
  • Collaborate with level artists and art director to bring game assets into the world.
