Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in a related discipline.
- Minimum of thirteen years of electrical engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and life safety.
- Proficiency in electrical codes including National Electric Code (NEC) and Energy Conservation Codes.
- Skilled in using AutoCAD and Revit for producing drawings and visual aids.
- Ability to perform technical design tasks such as short circuit coordination, arc flash studies, and equipment sizing.
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work successfully in a remote, distraction-free environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to plan, delegate work, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced electrical design tasks including electrical distribution systems, infrastructure layouts, and equipment sizing.
- Lead project teams and oversee full-cycle electrical design activities for hyperscale data centers.
- Develop and review project specifications, construction drawings, and sequence of operations.
- Manage project design team resources, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Serve as primary client contact and oversee execution of client value systems.
- Lead construction activities including site surveys, shop drawing reviews, and project closeout documentation.
- Identify and implement technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance workflow automation and project efficiency.
- Mentor associates and contribute to organizational training, standards development, and hiring.
