Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience working in CS and AI education.
- Recent classroom experience teaching CS and AI is ideal.
- Fluency reading and programming in one or more text-based languages: JavaScript, Python, and/or Java.
- Strong knowledge of 6-12 CS and AI concepts aligned with CSTA standards and the AI Literacy Framework.
- Experience developing CS and AI curriculum used across multiple districts or at the state level.
- Proficiency in designing multi-week sequences using a backward-design approach.
- Comfort and curiosity using AI tools in your work.
- Grounding in research-based, culturally responsive, student-centered pedagogy.
- Ability to analyze feedback and data from multiple sources to refine curriculum.
- Track record of managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality content on time.
- Strong collaboration and written/verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel at least twice per year for team events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine complex 6-12 CS and AI curriculum end to end including design, on-platform levels, resources, and assessments.
- Design learning experiences to help students understand and critically evaluate AI while staying current with the evolving landscape.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate development work while maintaining pedagogical quality and accuracy.
- Ground lessons in research-based, culturally responsive, student-centered pedagogy.
- Analyze student engagement and learning metrics to iterate and refine curriculum content.
- Collaborate across functions with professional learning content developers and software engineers.
- Participate in conferences and discussions to advance CS and AI education.
