Requirements
- 4-6+ years working in CS and AI education, ideally with classroom experience.
- Fluency in one or more text-based languages: JavaScript, Python, and/or Java.
- Deep knowledge of 6-12 CS/AI concepts aligned with CSTA standards and the AI Literacy Framework.
- Experience developing curriculum used across multiple districts or at the state level.
- Proficiency with backward-design approaches for multi-week sequences.
- Comfort using AI tools for curriculum development.
- Strong understanding of culturally responsive and student-centered pedagogy.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data/feedback to refine educational content.
- Track record of managing competing priorities and delivering content on schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel at least twice per year for team events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine complex 6-12 CS and AI curriculum end to end, including lesson design, resources, and assessments.
- Design learning experiences that help students understand, use, and critically evaluate AI.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining pedagogical quality.
- Ground lessons in research-based, culturally responsive, student-centered pedagogy.
- Analyze student engagement and learning metrics to iterate and improve content.
- Collaborate with professional learning developers, software engineers, and subject-matter experts.
- Stay current on CS/AI trends and present at conferences to advance the field.
