Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong Python development skills with Java experience, or strong Java development skills with Python experience.
- Hands-on experience with distributed workloads using tools such as Spark or Hadoop.
- Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake experience is a plus).
- Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency in shell scripting.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
- Excellent executive function and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain complex distributed processing applications.
- Utilize Python and Java to build and sustain system functionality.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Coaches, Analysts, and DBAs to meet program requirements.
- Work within Scrum and Kanban teams to ensure consistent Agile delivery.
- Ensure alignment between backend development and frontend requirements.
