  • 5+ years in B2B software marketing, including product, ecosystem, or developer marketing.
  • Direct, verifiable experience working within or for the WordPress market.
  • Deep understanding of WordPress agency business models, media landscapes, and community dynamics.
  • Proven track record of building GTM motions including audience definition, positioning, and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a market or segment rather than just contributing to one.
  • Previous ownership of content strategy with published professional output.
  • Background in security, performance, or infrastructure software marketing.
  • Direct experience with hosting industry events such as CloudFest, HostingCon, or WordCamps.
  • Ability to align cross-functional teams including product, sales, and external partners.
  • Experience operating in ambiguous environments and building programs from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with WordPress media publishers, influencers, and agency leaders.
  • Represent the company at industry events like WordCamps and CloudFest.
  • Define and own the GTM strategy and roadmap for the WordPress audience.
  • Direct product launches and shape commercial narratives for WordPress-facing solutions.
  • Manage the strategy and development of a dedicated agency-facing digital resource hub.
  • Develop media sponsorship and editorial placement strategies.
  • Lead content strategy, including annual industry reports and flagship research publications.
  • Produce customer success stories by identifying, interviewing, and showcasing key agency partners.
