Requirements
- 7+ years of repeated success on a variety of software development projects.
- Proven experience leading high-stakes consulting engagements.
- Proficiency in languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Ruby, Scala, R, SQL, and Go.
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features (e.g., recommendation engines, NLP, computer vision).
- Strong understanding of architectural concerns including scalability, security, and performance.
- Experience using Git, MacOS/Linux, and CI/CD tools.
- Ability to write production-quality code and utilize automated testing.
- Experience with AI-assistive development tools for refactoring, testing, and documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to empathically lead stakeholders.
- Experience in MLOps, Data Engineering (Databricks), DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-stakes consulting engagements from discovery to production.
- Architect and design software solutions while balancing technical trade-offs.
- Collaborate on full ML lifecycle projects including data ingestion, model deployment, and performance monitoring.
- Manage project backlogs and high-level roadmaps as a team lead.
- Mentor colleagues and facilitate technical workshops.
- Maintain regular syncs with client technical leaders to manage risks and provide project updates.
- Drive team health through feedback loops and modeling company values.
