Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences or other relevant field.
- Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) mental health licensure.
- 1+ year of experience in a relevant field related to mental health disorders.
- Willingness to apply for substance use licensure if not already held.
- Experience with trauma-informed services and cognitive behavioral therapies (DBT, CBT, motivational therapies).
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in clinical practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations including adolescents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct confidential substance use and mental health assessments via telehealth to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Formulate and implement initial treatment plans identifying necessary services.
- Collaborate with internal treatment teams and collateral resources to support client treatment goals.
- Coordinate with Admissions and other departments to manage client intake, referrals, and scheduling.
- Document all clinical activities and assessments accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Monitor client progress and engagement to address barriers to treatment.
- Maintain compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and HIPAA standards.
