Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences or other relevant field.
  • Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) mental health licensure.
  • 1+ year of experience in a relevant field related to mental health disorders.
  • Willingness to apply for substance use licensure if not already held.
  • Experience with trauma-informed services and cognitive behavioral therapies (DBT, CBT, motivational therapies).
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in clinical practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations including adolescents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct confidential substance use and mental health assessments via telehealth to determine the appropriate level of care.
  • Formulate and implement initial treatment plans identifying necessary services.
  • Collaborate with internal treatment teams and collateral resources to support client treatment goals.
  • Coordinate with Admissions and other departments to manage client intake, referrals, and scheduling.
  • Document all clinical activities and assessments accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Monitor client progress and engagement to address barriers to treatment.
  • Maintain compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and HIPAA standards.
