Requirements
- Medical degree (MD), ideally with board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Extensive experience in clinical research and development within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in clinical leadership and progressing clinical development programs.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience managing and developing direct reports.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial design and GCP guidelines.
- Direct experience with Phase 2 and 3 clinical study execution.
- Experience operating in a small or emerging biotech environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Ability to influence clinical strategy while driving hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Drive the clinical development strategy for one or more assets.
- Lead and contribute to the development of clinical trial protocols, study endpoints, and data collection.
- Oversee the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols and GCP guidelines.
- Manage and mentor Medical Directors, Clinical Scientists, and other team members.
- Review clinical data to assess safety and efficacy and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, medical affairs, biometrics, and pharmacovigilance teams.
- Engage with KOLs, advisory boards, and regulatory bodies.
