Requirements
- Associate degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of four years of experience producing construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD with a focus on low voltage design.
- Knowledge of copper and fiber optic networking systems, cabling, and components.
- Knowledge of Audio Visual (AV), Access Control, and CCTV systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong organizational and file management skills.
- Ability to analyze, prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Effective oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under moderate supervision.
- Ability to travel up to 10% to any of the 50 US states.
Responsibilities
- Support the production of BIM / CAD deliverables including Revit models and AutoCAD drawings to meet design requirements.
- Perform intermediate design tasks under the supervision of a senior engineer.
- Manage electronic documents and BIM models to facilitate project submissions.
- Collaborate with MEP, BAS, and EPMS trade leads for multi-discipline coordination.
- Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports of findings.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during the construction phase.
- Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
