Requirements
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Taxation, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in U.S. tax preparation and bookkeeping/accounting support.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience conducting classroom or online training.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and teach beginners effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain professional standards.
- 3+ years of U.S. accounting or tax experience preferred.
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Drake Tax preferred.
- Professional credentials such as CPA, EA, CA, or CMA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach U.S. tax fundamentals including Forms 1040, 1120, 1065, and associated schedules.
- Deliver training on accounting cycles, financial statements, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Provide hands-on instruction in Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Excel for professional accounting workflows.
- Foster a culture of accuracy and quality control regarding data entry and professional documentation standards.
- Conduct professional communication training focusing on business English and U.S. accounting terminology.
- Develop and simulate real-world case studies for tax preparation and bookkeeping cleanup.
- Evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and practical performance metrics.
