Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in cloud/platform operations or related roles.
- Proficiency in administering cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Proficient use of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
- Subject Matter Expertise in Linux Operating Systems administration.
- Skilled in developing automation solutions using scripting languages.
- Practical experience with networking technologies like Load Balancers, DNS, SSL, Firewalls, NAT, and NTP.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
- Experience handling large-scale production systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance for US Government work.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement automated configuration and deployment processes to enhance platform performance and accessibility.
- Establish and manage administrator and service accounts while maintaining accurate system documentation.
- Utilize scripting tools to craft self-service capabilities within the Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Collaborate with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot problems to ensure smooth operations.
- Take operational responsibility for services under team ownership.
- Work on-call to support customer needs.
- Champion AI-augmented ways of working to accelerate delivery and reduce cycle time.
