Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in financial services, lending, or mortgage-related roles.
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in mortgage lending or loan approval processes (strong asset).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English (bilingualism required).
- Ability to work independently in a structured and regulated environment.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
- Good judgment and ability to interpret policies, identify issues, and apply appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities
- Review mortgage loan files and approval processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and quality requirements.
- Execute quality control assessments to verify accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in lending decisions and documentation.
- Identify errors or process gaps, analyze root causes, and support corrective actions and coaching initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending enhancements to processes, controls, and workflows.
- Apply sound judgment to detect issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to established policies and guidelines.
- Work independently while maintaining alignment with broader team objectives and operational priorities.
- Support reporting and documentation of quality findings to inform business decisions and improvements.
- Perform additional related duties as required to support evolving business needs.
