  • Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
  • Strong understanding of short-form content structure, including hooks, pacing, and retention-driven storytelling.
  • Ability to work effectively with raw smartphone footage and enhance it into polished, professional outputs.
  • Familiarity with direct response advertising principles and performance-driven creative editing.
  • Reliable internet connection and availability to work with overlap during US (PST) business hours.
  • Strong communication skills and responsiveness during working hours via collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work 6 days per week and manage multiple ad variations under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Edit high-performing short-form video ads for paid social platforms, primarily Meta (Reels and Stories formats).
  • Transform raw footage, screen recordings, and AI-generated assets into engaging, conversion-driven creatives.
  • Structure videos using a direct response framework including hooks, body, and CTA sequences.
  • Apply best practices in pacing, transitions, captions, music selection, and visual storytelling to maximize viewer retention.
  • Adapt content from raw or unpolished materials into professional, ad-ready video creatives.
  • Produce multiple ad variations for testing and optimization within campaign frameworks.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align edits with performance goals and campaign strategy.
