Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience editing paid social or short-form video.
  • At least 2 years of experience working for a DTC brand or social-heavy creator.
  • Portfolio featuring paid social cuts with documented performance metrics.
  • Proven track record of success working asynchronously with U.S. teams.
  • Expert level proficiency in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut.
  • Intermediate or better proficiency in After Effects.
  • Ability to execute briefs without requiring multiple rounds of clarification.
  • High attention to detail for self-QA to minimize revision needs.
  • Experience using Frame.io for project workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Ship 8–12 cuts per week including UGC reformats, hook variants, and paid social clips.
  • Move briefs to v1 within 48 hours while meeting an 80%+ pass rate on producer reviews.
  • Execute strictly to provided briefs covering hook, hold, payoff, and pacing.
  • Repurpose individual UGC submissions into multiple distinct assets.
  • Manage and tag the asset library for rapid retrieval.
  • Perform self-QA on all deliverables, including audio, color, pacing, and safe zones.
  • Maintain clear asynchronous communication via Loom and written feedback threads.
