Requirements

  • 2+ years in a quota-carrying sales role with demonstrated closing experience.
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle end-to-end, from initial outreach through execution.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical aptitude to master internal tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong ethical judgment and commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Willingness to become NMLS licensed; active NMLS licensing is a plus.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with inbound leads to provide compliant information while connecting with empathy to understand each homeowner's circumstances.
  • Serve as a single point of contact throughout the investment process, providing status updates, responding to questions, and requesting documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including processors and underwriters to ensure efficient processes.
  • Manage pipeline using Salesforce and proprietary software, keeping applications up to date and communicating next steps.
  • Become an expert in Hometap's home equity investment product through training and coaching.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Stay current on the competitive landscape and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to improve the customer experience.
