Requirements
- 8+ years of professional senior-level experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on software development and technical leadership.
- Strong backend engineering background (C#, Python, or Java preferred).
- Expertise in system architecture and technical decision-making.
- Proven experience in people management, including hiring and team leadership.
- Capacity to manage infrastructure and operational/administrative side.
- Startup mindset with ability to lead by example in small, flat teams.
- Clear and structured communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical goals to business needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as the CTO's second-in-command across backend and ML teams.
- Own architecture and technical decision-making end-to-end.
- Ship features and prototype functionality through hands-on coding.
- Translate business problems into technical solutions and drive team execution.
- Manage people-related decisions including hiring, resourcing, and team syncs.
- Ensure cross-team alignment and synchronization with peer leadership.
- Manage infrastructure and operational tasks.
