Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, or related field with 8 years of financial analyst experience, OR Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.
- Solid accounting capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Power Query, pivot tables, and logical/conditional functions.
- Experience with hands-on data engineering using large data sets, including data cleaning, transformation, and governance.
- Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Domo.
- Ability to create financial models and lead efforts to automate and scale financial processes.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to complete complex assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Analyze monthly financial and operational results to identify variance drivers and provide insights to senior management.
- Lead analytical projects from inception to conclusion to inform strategic planning.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecast activities.
- Update assumptions by working independently across disciplines to understand key business drivers.
- Prepare regular financial reporting packages for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Assist in SEC reporting, including quarterly MD&A preparation.
