Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing software with Go.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience building Kubernetes controllers and Operators.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, container technologies, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and public cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience building internal developer platforms or infrastructure-as-code solutions using Kubernetes Operators is highly valued.
- Familiarity with feature flagging, progressive delivery, and modern software deployment practices is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a pragmatic problem-solving approach.
- Customer-focused mindset with curiosity, empathy, and a passion for creating tools that improve developer productivity.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance platform features with a strong focus on delivering customer value and maintaining high engineering standards.
- Own the complete feature lifecycle, from product discovery and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Build scalable backend services and Kubernetes Operators using Go to support cloud-native platform capabilities.
- Collaborate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand user needs and translate feedback into product improvements.
- Break down complex initiatives into incremental deliverables while defining effective rollout and delivery strategies.
- Contribute to platform architecture and technical decision-making as the product evolves toward a SaaS model.
- Support integrations with AI-powered development tools and contribute to upstream open-source projects when appropriate.
- Participate in the team's on-call rotation to help ensure platform reliability and operational excellence.
