Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields, or any degree complemented by a postgraduate qualification (minimum 360 hours) in IT.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a Requirements Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of requirements engineering processes and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with elicitation techniques such as interviews, workshops, observation, questionnaires, and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of BPMN, UML, data modeling, and software development life cycles (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative).
  • Familiarity with software architecture concepts and ability to align requirements with technical constraints.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and deliver structured documentation.
  • Certifications such as IREB CPRE Foundation Level, CSPO, or PSPO I are required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute requirements management activities, including business rules and functional/non-functional requirements definition.
  • Elicit requirements using appropriate techniques such as interviews, workshops, observation, brainstorming, and prototyping.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to understand needs and translate them into structured specifications.
  • Develop and maintain requirements artifacts, ensuring alignment with the defined methodology and governance standards.
  • Support and guide team members in understanding requirements, traceability, and documentation standards.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions between stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective communication throughout the lifecycle.
