Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in sales, preferably in life sciences, diagnostics, laboratory equipment, or scientific instrumentation.
- Strong ability to engage with clinicians, researchers, and technical stakeholders in a consultative sales approach.
- Solid understanding of scientific or laboratory workflows; exposure to molecular biology, cell techniques, or flow cytometry is a plus.
- Proven track record in sales generation, negotiation, and closing deals in a B2B or technical sales environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to manage a defined territory independently with strong planning and prioritization skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales generation across the assigned territory by actively identifying, engaging, and converting new customers in clinical and research markets.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clinicians, researchers, and channel partners to support repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Present and demonstrate scientific and diagnostic solutions, clearly communicating product value and technical benefits to stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles including negotiation, pricing discussions, and deal closure while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop and execute territory-level sales strategies and growth plans.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates using CRM or reporting tools.
- Travel extensively within the assigned region (50% or more) to support customer engagement and business development activities.
