Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- At least 3 years of experience working on developer-facing products such as API platforms, developer portals, SDKs, or internal developer tooling.
- Strong experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for technical and API-driven systems.
- Proven experience running backlog grooming, sprint planning, and refinement sessions.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, integration patterns, and engineering workflows.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent communication skills for operating across US and India-based teams.
- Experience working in distributed engineering setups is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead backlog refinement and story grooming sessions, translating epics and features into detailed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with US product management objectives, roadmap priorities, and engineering capacity.
- Act as the primary execution bridge between US Product Managers and India engineering teams, ensuring clarity of scope, sequencing, and delivery expectations.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure stories are implementation-ready, technically feasible, and aligned with system architecture.
- Track sprint progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers, proactively communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including grooming and refinement sessions.
- Ensure delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria and supports high-quality, production-ready releases.
