Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in category management, partnerships, marketplace growth, or operator roles within trading cards, sports cards, or adjacent enthusiast ecosystems.
- Deeply embedded in trading card culture with knowledge of platforms, trends, and grading standards.
- Strong relationship building skills with credibility among collectors, breakers, and community members.
- Data-literate with an understanding of pricing spreads, liquidity, and margin structures.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in owning outcomes and building from the ground up.
- Strong communication skills for serving as the internal voice of the community.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the growth strategy for trading cards within the platform.
- Own category-level performance across supply, engagement, and revenue.
- Build and own a pipeline of high-impact sellers, breakers, and dealers.
- Identify and orchestrate category-specific moments, campaigns, and formats to drive engagement.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to shape features and tools for collectors.
- Document learnings and best practices to define category ownership frameworks.
