Requirements
- 6+ years in accounting, controllership, or finance operations roles.
- Proven experience with end-to-end ownership of close and reporting processes.
- Mandatory prior experience in web3/crypto companies, exchanges, or crypto-heavy operations.
- Strong technical accounting foundation (IFRS/GAAP knowledge).
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting and operating across multiple jurisdictions.
- Crypto-native accounting experience: wallets, exchanges, reconciliation, and audit trails.
- Hands-on experience with Xero (core accounting).
- Hands-on experience with Cryptio (crypto accounting/reconciliation).
- Strong documentation discipline and audit-ready work habits.
- Excellent written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process across multiple entities.
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and FX revaluation.
- Lead end-to-end crypto transaction accounting across wallets, exchanges, and networks.
- Ensure crypto balances are reconciled with strong audit trails and clear classification rules.
- Implement finance controls and maintain a compliance calendar with external advisors.
- Deliver management-ready financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
