Requirements
- At least 5 years' hands-on experience supporting multi-tenant database systems in high-volume environments.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL processes and data transformation pipelines.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services (RDS, Redshift, S3, Lambda).
- Experience supporting PostgreSQL systems in cloud or data center environments.
- At least 3 years' experience working in a DevOps/SRE environment.
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Docker, Docker Compose, ECS, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, or DynamoDB).
- Experience supporting and configuring Linux environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code systems (Terraform preferred).
- Understanding of database architecture, modeling, and schema design.
Responsibilities
- Ensure availability and performance of databases supporting online services and business operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows.
- Optimize complex SQL queries and develop advanced SQL solutions for reporting.
- Perform capacity planning and database configuration to support application needs.
- Create and maintain database system policies and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage containerized database environments using Docker and orchestration tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to coordinate new data development and integration.
- Participate in on-call rotation to resolve database issues.
