Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Production experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or similar) in TypeScript.
- Backend expertise in building services and APIs (REST/GraphQL) with relational and non-relational data modeling.
- Hands-on experience building services on AWS (e.g., ECS/EKS, RDS/S3, IAM).
- Comfortable with modern CI/CD and Git workflows, such as GitHub Actions and automated testing.
- Strong production instincts: testable code, error handling, and debugging live systems.
- AI-first working style with daily use of AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar).
- Ability to work with minimal hand-holding and own complex features from ambiguity to shipment.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Build and own features end-to-end—UI, API, and data—from design through production support.
- Translate product requirements and architectural direction into working, maintainable code.
- Build accessible, responsive UIs with a modern framework (React, Vue, or similar) in TypeScript.
- Design and build services and APIs (REST/GraphQL or event-driven) with sensible data models.
- Review PRs thoroughly to ensure correctness, clarity, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product and Design on scope, feasibility, and trade-offs.
- Use modern AI tooling as a daily working layer across design, coding, and review.
