Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within an Australian Registered Training Organization (RTO).
  • Experience in Learning Design, Compliance, Assessment Development, or Quality Assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of Standards for RTOs 2025.
  • Strong knowledge of validation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of competency-based assessment.
  • Experience developing assessment tools and mapping documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.
  • TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (Preferred).
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle or Canvas (Preferred).
  • Experience with instructional design tools like Articulate 360 (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve training and assessment resources.
  • Develop compliant assessment tools, mapping documents, and supporting materials.
  • Coordinate validation activities and support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain LMS content and digital learning resources.
  • Review and update policies, procedures, and quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to improve learning outcomes.
  • Monitor updates to the Standards for RTOs 2025 and implement required changes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across learning and compliance systems.
  • Provide compliance and assessment guidance to trainers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure learning resources remain industry-relevant and audit-ready.
