Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10–15+ years of relevant experience in network engineering, architecture, or systems integration
- Deep understanding of DoD network architectures and hybrid cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS) and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
- Experience with cloud networking technologies (AWS and/or Azure) and hybrid connectivity solutions
- Experience with SDN and network virtualization technologies
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, Zero Trust Architecture, and RMF processes
- Experience with DoDAF, architecture development, and system documentation
- Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of end-to-end hybrid cloud architectures integrating enterprise, edge, and tactical network environments
- Translate Operational Needs Statements (ONS), Capability Production Documents (CPD), and stakeholder requirements into cloud-enabled network solutions
- Develop and maintain architectures aligned to Army tactical network baselines and modernization initiatives
- Design and implement cloud networking solutions across AWS and Azure environments
- Architect and integrate software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization solutions
- Lead Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) implementation, including segmentation and identity-based access
- Ensure compliance with RMF, DISA STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity requirements
