Job Details

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, tax, management information systems, computer science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in indirect tax engine implementation and transformation.
Proven knowledge of tax engines such as AvaTax, Vertex O-Series, and ONESOURCE.
Strong analytical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Working knowledge of Alteryx and other automation solutions.
Experience representing tax requirements in implementations for ERP and e-commerce systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Microsoft).
General understanding of the tax cycle and workflow.
Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations.
Ability to travel as needed to serve clients.
CMI in Sales and Use Tax (preferred).

Lead and manage the design, implementation, and configuration of indirect tax software solutions, including AvaTax, ONESOURCE, and Vertex.
Provide tax technology expertise in client discussions, communicating effectively with finance, tax, and IT leadership.
Oversee the preparation and review of client deliverables such as workflows, project plans, budgets, and business requirements.
Develop and improve the delivery platform, including standardized project templates and test script documentation.
Participate in business development, cross-functional strategy, and the creation of marketing materials.
Recruit, retain, and mentor team members while setting strategy for practice growth.
Represent the firm through authoring articles and presenting at professional seminars and webinars.
