Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a community, social media, or other public communication-related field.
- 2+ years of experience in game development or the web3 industry.
- Experience in preparing and supporting a product’s community for major updates.
- Strong understanding of community development and management.
- Deep knowledge of growing and maintaining X and Discord channels.
- Experience with Discord server management, security, and infrastructure.
- Strong writing skills with experience in articles, blog posts, and copy.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with a detail-oriented focus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for community and internal collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Be the voice of the studio and actively participate with the community.
- Develop effective strategies and content plans to increase engagement and drive excitement.
- Plan, execute, and report on community events aligned with in-game content and marketing.
- Provide actionable feedback on community sentiment to grow and retain the player base.
- Manage community reputation through consistent tone of voice and communication.
- Engage players across social channels and ensure their input is addressed.
- Create and publish content for social and community channels, including text, streams, and videos.
- Moderate community channels and manage a team of volunteer moderators.
- Assist in the production and moderation of livestreams, AMAs, and live content.
- Define community goals, analyze results, and report on performance.
