Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience in network equipment installation, configuration, and sustainment.
- Expertise in CheckPoint firewalls (R80.40 and R81.10).
- Deep understanding of LAN/WAN operations.
- Familiarity with Incident Ticket Tracking systems.
- Strong knowledge of DoD and DLA security regulations and Information Assurance best practices.
- DoD Top Secret clearance.
- IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CySA+).
- Computing Environment certification (CCSA, CCSE, or CCSM).
- Valid US Passport or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (CONUS and OCONUS).
Responsibilities
- Plan and deploy Enclave Boundary Defense systems including firewalls, proxy servers, and cloud services.
- Verify device configurations in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Provide 24x7x365 on-call support for firewall troubleshooting and log analysis.
- Conduct security assessments and maintain architecture for CSP environments.
- Coordinate with Tier III support teams and government customers on design and implementation phases.
- Develop briefings for management on Enclave Boundary Defense activities.
