Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering
- Experience working with multi-cloud environments at scale
- Experienced with Kubernetes and comfortable running it across multiple environments (AWS, GCP, and Azure)
- Experience with Pulumi or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling
- Experience with at least one cloud abstraction, portability, or re-platforming initiative
- Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in async or globally distributed teams
Responsibilities
- Audit existing infrastructure components to identify cloud-specific dependencies and build a structured, actionable migration backlog
- Design and implement cloud-agnostic abstractions over compute, networking, and storage layers
- Maintain and evolve our Kubernetes-based workload orchestration to run portably across cloud environments
- Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams to ensure new work is built with multi-cloud portability in mind from the start
- Contribute to architecture decisions around target cloud environments and colocated infrastructure options
