Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in an institutional development or fundraising role.
  • Proven track record of securing grants in the mid to upper six-figure range.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of grants with competing deadlines.
  • Strong grant writing skills for both project and general operating support.
  • Ability to understand and interpret grant budgets.
  • Exceptional communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Experience with CRM maintenance (e.g., Blackbaud).
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Asana project management software.
  • Experience in an organization with offices in multiple countries.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and write compelling, outcomes-oriented grant proposals and reports aligned with organizational mission.
  • Maintain a portfolio of institutional donors, actively identifying new prospects and cultivating relationships.
  • Coordinate with finance staff to ensure grant budgets and reporting requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with program staff to align donor interests with organizational deliverables.
  • Update records and information within the CRM system.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external grant-related deadlines.
