Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in an institutional development or fundraising role.
- Proven track record of securing grants in the mid to upper six-figure range.
- Experience managing a portfolio of grants with competing deadlines.
- Strong grant writing skills for both project and general operating support.
- Ability to understand and interpret grant budgets.
- Exceptional communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Experience with CRM maintenance (e.g., Blackbaud).
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Asana project management software.
- Experience in an organization with offices in multiple countries.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and write compelling, outcomes-oriented grant proposals and reports aligned with organizational mission.
- Maintain a portfolio of institutional donors, actively identifying new prospects and cultivating relationships.
- Coordinate with finance staff to ensure grant budgets and reporting requirements are met.
- Collaborate with program staff to align donor interests with organizational deliverables.
- Update records and information within the CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external grant-related deadlines.
