Requirements

  • Associate degree with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Equivalent combination of trade school or industry experience in field service engineering.
  • Strong communication skills for professional customer interaction.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, and repair skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel daily with 30% overnight travel.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment and tools up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage customer accounts while fostering professional relationships.
  • Propose process improvements to enhance internal and external workflows.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of technical products.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and repair for biotechnology and life science instruments.
  • Travel daily throughout the Southeast region as required.
