Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent military experience.
- 1+ year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, or electronic instrumentation.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 75% via driving or flying, including overnight stays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting/moving up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, squat, kneel, and ascend/descend stairs.
- Proficiency with technical documentation and service record systems.
- Prior experience with advanced troubleshooting or service repair (preferred).
- Experience developing business relationships with stakeholders (preferred).
- Technical college major in biomed, engineering, or related field (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, install, perform preventative maintenance, and repair Beckman Coulter equipment.
- Provide efficient service and technical product training to customers.
- Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records.
- Order repair parts and adhere to defined cycle times.
- Utilize business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning and reporting.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to meet requirements.
- Train newer Field Service Engineers.
