Requirements
- 5 or more years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
- 2 or more years of experience as a diagnostic master or lead technician.
- 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles.
- Working knowledge of advanced and OE-level diagnostic scan tools.
- Ability to read and interpret automotive electrical and electronic schematics.
- Strong proficiency with Windows 10 (or later) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Must possess a personal Windows-based computer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current or previous ASE or OEM certifications are preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-scans and post-repair diagnostic scans remotely for collision repair facilities.
- Execute code and data reading, programming, and bi-directional testing.
- Manage component re-learns, configurations, coding, and system calibrations.
- Provide diagnostic assistance to ensure ADAS systems meet manufacturer specifications.
- Read, interpret, and document automotive diagnostic scan tool data.
- Communicate diagnostic findings to fellow technicians and non-technical clients.
