Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent (required).
- College or some college degree (preferred).
- Two years of customer sales, upsales, telemarketing, and service experience (required).
- Two years of corporate or leisure travel industry experience (required).
- One year of international booking experience.
- Strong English communication skills to answer calls from clients across Canada and worldwide.
- Ability to read provided scripts verbatim while maintaining sales and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers interested in purchasing or researching travel.
- Greet and converse with customers in a professional, courteous manner.
- Effectively turn customer inquiries into sales by utilizing appropriate selling techniques.
- Research travel rates, destinations, options, and packages for customers.
- Provide accurate information regarding inquiries and requests for changes or cancellations.
- Promote and solicit the sale of new or additional services.
- Track and report call types and service issues accurately.
- Meet or exceed quality and daily metric standards while maintaining consistent talk times.
