Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of directly relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow FSM (Field Service Management) and/or Service Bridge.
  • Experience with gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modeling.
  • Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of integration components (SSO, LDAP) and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services).
  • Experience with ServiceNow Development APIs and diagnosing performance issues.
  • Understanding of enterprise and/or IT Service Management principles.

Responsibilities

  • Support the technical design for architecture, ensuring a highly available and recoverable environment.
  • Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions.
  • Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems using mid-server and relevant technologies.
  • Document, maintain, and update policies, procedures, and controls for platform operations and the SDLC.
  • Promote agile development methodologies.
  • Assist ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution.
  • Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services.
  • Assist ServiceNow Business Analysts in estimating release level of effort.
