- 2+ years of experience in outpatient or obesity medicine, endocrinology, or bariatrics, and/or 2+ years of obesity medicine experience in a primary care/internal medicine setting
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner degree.
- 2+ years of experience in outpatient or obesity medicine, endocrinology, or bariatrics, and/or 2+ years of obesity medicine experience in a primary care/internal medicine setting.
- Current license to practice and prescribe legally in CA, CO, or WA.
- Prior experience conducting telemedicine visits with a strong web-side manner.
- Experience with evidence-based lifestyle counseling and pharmacotherapy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based obesity management.
- RN Compact license or multistate license is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity.
- Collaborate with physicians and Registered Dietitians to deliver team-based care.
- Conduct regular video visits with patients via the proprietary mobile app.
- Deliver evidence-based obesity treatment through lifestyle counseling and pharmacotherapy.
- Engage with patients through text messaging, photo journaling, and digital data transmission.
