Requirements
- Strong product design craft: ability to take on a problem from research through to polished UX.
- Figma fluency: speed, organization, and ability to build complex, interactive prototypes.
- Comfort with technical complexity: ability to design for domains with quick learning.
- Systems thinking: capacity to hold multiple products in mind and design for ecosystem coherence.
- Independence: ability to drive projects forward without needing constant direction.
- Research capability: ability to run user interviews, synthesize findings, and turn them into design decisions.
- Basic coding literacy: understanding of breakpoints, build processes, and developer workflows.
- Clear communication: ability to explain reasoning to engineers, PMs, and leadership.
- Experience designing developer tools, technical products, or complex professional software (preferred).
- A developer background or engineering mindset (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own the design process from early research through shipped pixels.
- Work across multiple products while maintaining ecosystem coherence.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to shape product direction.
- Conduct and participate in user research: interviews, usability testing, and design validation.
- Build in Figma with organized files and effective prototypes.
- Navigate complex technical domains and translate them into clear, usable experiences.
- Contribute to design system and pattern documentation.
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
