Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in GAAP or Tax accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
- Experience in public accounting or SaaS.
- Advanced skills with Google Sheets and Excel (data manipulation, charts, formulas, pivots).
- Familiarity with modern tools like Sage Intacct, Netsuite, Workday, Airbase, FloQast, Navan, or Expensify.
- Strong service mentality to drive internal customer joy.
- Ability to translate accounting jargon into accessible concepts.
- CPA or CPA eligible preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of the monthly close process and support timely reporting.
- Mature accounting practices to maintain quality while increasing scale.
- Partner with internal business partners to develop solutions for transaction workflows through process optimization.
- Operate and optimize a suite of finance systems including Navan, Expensify, and Workday.
- Assist in areas of the general ledger, including payroll, accruals, and debt accounting.
- Support the finance team with larger projects such as annual audits.
- Reconcile payroll-related journal entries to ensure accurate recording of expenses and withholdings.
