Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, ideally in customer-facing or product-driven environments
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript (or comparable backend technologies)
- Deep understanding of backend architecture including microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and design patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and related services
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling principles
- Experience building scalable, high-performance systems handling significant data or traffic volume
- Proven ability to debug complex production issues across infrastructure and application layers
- Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across distributed, cross-functional teams
- Experience working in agile environments with modern software delivery practices
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements, pain points, and product gaps
- Translate customer needs into backend features, integrations, and scalable technical solutions
- Design and develop robust backend services using modern architectures and best practices
- Contribute to API design, system architecture, and backend engineering standards
- Investigate and resolve complex issues related to performance, scalability, infrastructure, and distributed systems
- Collaborate across engineering, product, sales, and customer success teams to align technical solutions with business needs
- Support customer-facing technical discussions with deep product and system expertise
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and overall system performance
